Central to the whole school is the quality of teaching and learning provided. Trelales has always endeavoured to provide a wide range of educational opportunities for its pupils through a broad and balanced Curriculum whilst at the same time providing a school environment which is both stimulating and challenging::

"Standards of achievement in both Key Stages are good or better in all lessons seen. N.C. teacher assessments are significantly 
above the national average. N.C. tests results at the end of KS2 are above the national average.  Pupils' standards in the key skills of 
Speaking, Listening, Reading, Numeracy and ICT are very good. Provision for pupils Spiritual, Moral and Cultural Education is very good.
Pupils' behaviour and attitude are very good. The quality of teaching throughout the school is good or better in all lessons seen. The school
offers a very good curriculum that is broad and balanced. The school is fully inclusive and provides pupils with equality of access and 
opportunity. Very good provision is made for the support, guidance and welfare of pupils. Overall, very good provision is made for pupils with
Special Educational Needs. The school's partnership with parents and community, schools and other institutions is very good. The school's 
partnership with Industry is very good. The management and efficiency of the school are very good."
