Pastoral Care & Discipline... Pastoral Care We at Trelales have always been proud of our caring attitude and whole school approach to providing a secure, happy environment for all our pupils. The pupils are supervised every breaktime by a member of the teaching staff and assisted during the lunch break by three very caring supervisors. There is always a member of staff available to share your child's problems.
School discipline
Pupils of the school are expected to realise that, whatever their age, ability and
interest, they are also members of a community and will being of the school.
To do this pupils of Trelales will show respect for:
1. Themselves - by being sensible and behaving in a proper manner
2. Their teachers - by being courteous.
3. The local Community - by being polite to all adults in and around
the school.
4. School Environment - by showing concern for their classrooms,
playground, school equipment and buildings.
The simplest rule for all pupils to follow is one which ensures self-discipline
so that good behaviour, courtesy, good manners and a consideration for others
become second nature to all our pupils.
The co-operation of all parents is sought on all matters relating to
disciplining of pupils.
